The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA programmes would be as per the AICTE norms, viz.

• Have completed a bachelor's degree with at least a 50% grade point average (45% for candidates from reserved categories).

The School of Management Studies of IGNOU has offered MBA programmes since 1987 ceaselessly. MBA from IGNOU 2023 has a total of 28 courses with a credit weightage of 116 credits, including the following:

• Twenty (20) Core courses, each worth four credits (MMPC-001 through MMPC-020), totalling eighty credits.

• Seven (07) Courses from any of the chosen specialization areas of 4 credits each = 28 Credits.

• One (01) Project course (MMPP-001) of 8 credits. 

MMPP-001 (Project Course) is equivalent to two courses. The fee will be equivalent to two courses. However, MMPP-001 (Project Course) is treated as one course for registration purposes.

Students must select seven courses in each of the semesters during the programmes.

There is no IGNOU MBA entrance exam 2023. One can apply online, and the admissions will be based on merit.
